Natural Remedies For Boils

What is the best way to get rid of fire ants?
I have had fire ants in my flower beds for over a year. I’ve tried about everything.
First I went for the natural remedies because I did not want to harm my plants or the soil. I tried cornmeal, boric acid, baking soda/vinegar, boiling hot water. The boiling water sort of worked. That mount died but a new one popped up in a different spot a few days later.
So I went to Lowe’s and got some bait and granular poison. I thought that did the trick and I didn’t see ants for months. Yesterday I went out to work my flower beds and they are back again! And this time the mound is bigger than ever.
Anyone know any sure fire method to get rid of them once and for all? I would be most grateful.
The ants are super aggressive too. I was standing a couple of feet away and before I even noticed the mound, my feet were covered in ants!
the quickest kill will be a drench of the mound. Any of the water based insecticides that is approved for using around the plants the ants are near will work, even if you dilute the strength in half. Even on large lots that I treat this way with dozens of mounds the first treatment I would expect new mounds to show up three weeks later. After that treatment there should be some ant freedom for awhile though at any given time a new mound or two may show up but the yard is now manageable to treat as needed. Whether a new mound shows up 2 months down the road or two years will be impossible to say.
